Overview
The Finance Coordinator will report directly to the Director of the Field Office at USCRI Albany. The primary objective of this position is to compute, classify, record, verify, and maintain numerical data for use in financial records and coordinate with human resources on personnel actions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation of payments to clients and payments to vendors;
- Oversee purchases/procurement for office-related supplies and materials;
- Prepare billing statements and accept payments for fee-for-service clients
- Monitor the processing of AP/AR;
- Manage corporate credit card usage and reporting;
- Review program spending vs. approved budgets and financial compliance with the Field Office Director and program staff;
- Track and report monetary donations;
- Follow up with customers for fee for service programs to ensure that all invoicing is current;
- Perform other duties to maintain accuracy for fee for service programs: Language Bank and Discovering Home, LLC as requested by supervisor;
- Participate in monthly reviews of financial statements and related schedules and analyses with Headquarters and Field Office Director;
- Work in close partnership with the HQ Finance team;
- Support full-cycle human resources process, including processing human resources related paperwork, and coordinating successful on-boarding for local field staff;
- Perform clerical duties including mail handling, filing, data entry, and other operations and administrative support duties as assigned by the Field Office Director; and
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance with at least one year relevant experience is preferred; Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently as well as in collaboration with others is required;
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel and database programs is required;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Ability to practice discretion and maintain strict confidentiality and security of employee information;
- Knowledge of budgets, contracts, and Microsoft Navision Accounting software is preferred;

TRAINING REQUIRMENTS
- Satisfactory completion of USCRI’s Orientation and Training; and
- Complete additional training as identified by supervisor(s) or Human Resources
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity;
- Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands;
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying; and

Salary : $51,600 - $65,400
