What are the responsibilities and job description for the F & B Warehouse Receiver position at U S National Whitewater Center?
The Food and Beverage Warehouse Receiver is responsible for ordering, receiving and distribution of food and beverage items at the Whitewater Center, and maintains storerooms and transportation vehicles per Whitewater standards. This position is a part-time, hourly position that reports directly to the Kitchen Manager.
Responsibilities
- Receiving goods from vendors and storing the merchandise received
- Orders food and supplies based upon product specification as established by company ordering protocols and procedures
- Labeling and dating all product
- Maintains records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items per standards.
- Delivering products to specific locations and storing them properly
- Separate order based on requisitions for delivery to locations across the property.
- Assist management with accurate counts for month end inventory.
- General warehouse cleaning and upkeep with maintaining sanitation in storage areas
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Requires working in freezer, cooler and dry warehouse environments with extreme cold and/or warm temperatures
Requirements
- Able to read & write legibly
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Good verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must possess a valid US driver’s license
- Must have availability to work nights and weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
Physical Demands
- Must be able to safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in a confined space
- Must be able to stand for sustained periods of time
- Must be able to lift and move at least 75 pounds
