U.S. Technical Consultants, Inc. is immediately hiring for a full-time Mechanical and/or Electrical Design Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in commercial aircraft systems to support various modification projects. We are an engineering services company in the aviation industry that caters to a diverse range of customers. We work on everything from drones to large transport aircraft, interior modifications to air tanker conversions. Our main focus is and always will be customer satisfaction. Salary is negotiable based on experience and we include a competitive benefits package.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop repairs and modifications to various aircraft types within budget and on schedule.
- Produce manufacturing and installation drawings and substantiation documents.
- Obtain FAA approvals.
- Collaborate with other engineers on team projects.
- Follow UST policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in commercial aircraft systems.
- Proficient in ASME Y14.100 drafting skills in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Project management skills.
- Understanding of the FAA certification process and requirements.
