Job Description The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical leadership for North America Taste, Meals & Away from Home Team (TMA) product development (such as sauces, dessert, cheese, soups, meals) and to identify and commercialize technologies to advance growth and quality objectives and ensure business continuity for Kraft Heinz, The candidate will be scoping and executing technical projects to meet business initiatives focused on New Product Development. This includes crafting and performing tests, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, documenting, communicating results, and commercializing products. Communication and teamwork skills are essential in this role, which operates in a dynamic and cross-functional environment with partners in Marketing, Operations, R&D, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, external ingredient/product suppliers, co-manufactures and business partners. The candidate must also have a technical background and be able to apply prior learning or scientific principles to new situations. This position requires an individual to manage multiple assignments/ tasks concurrently with some supervisor guidance. The candidate are expected to lead their projects and exhibit a collaborative mindset to apply innovative solutions. Key Components Responsible for developing and commercializing new products, renovating existing products, reviewing and evaluating ingredients, and delivering cost savings. The candidate will be driving highly technical and sophisticated projects to meet the business platform and innovation objectives. Working collaboratively with Packaging, Quality, Operations, Project Management, Marketing, Sales to drive, scope, implement projects to meet business objectives. Conduct feasibility assessments, prototype development, costing, supervision of factory trials, development of recipe and factory documentation, recipe and label development, technical approval, shelf life assessment and technical support for initial factory production. Apply prior learning or scientific principles to new situations Manage multiple assignments/ tasks concurrently and demonstrate the ability complete work with minimal guidance.
