What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embroidery Machine Operator position at UA Brands?
Our Warehouse Team Members serve a dual role to keep our operations running smoothly by picking orders as well as by completing the shipping release and packing of orders. As an Embroidery Associate, you will accurately process customer orders requiring embroidery.
*** Pay $15.50-$16.00 hourly***
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Industrial Sized Embroidery Machines to manufacture embroidered goods at the highest quality and efficiency standards.
- Prepare machine for garments, which includes loading digitized designs into machine network, manual thread color changes, and needle changes when appropriate.
- Prepare garments for the machine, which includes hooping mechanisms and backing placement to ensure the highest possible quality and output.
- Examine completed work to detect product defects and verify conformance and adjust machinery as necessary to correct quality or efficiency issues.
- Routine machine maintenance including Daily Oiling and Lint Control using a compressed air system and a shop vacuum.
- Position requires the ability and willingness to work on the warehouse production floor at all work- stations “as needed”.
Shift Information
- Hours will be from 4 am – 12:30 pm or 1 pm – 9:30 pm, Monday - Friday
- Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays, as needed
- Pay for performance incentive opportunity!
- Evening shift differential pay of $.50 per hour!

- The employee must regularly lift, push and/or pull up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift, push and/or pull up to 25 pounds, and may infrequently be required to lift, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
Your Warehouse Work Environment
- You will experience moderate noise levels from the warehouse/distribution center’s mechanical and computer equipment.
- You will often work near moving mechanical parts and will occasionally work from places high above the ground.
- You will be working in a warehouse environment with high temperatures (and occasionally cold temperatures.)
- Sewing Machine or Embroidery Experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or drawn form
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be 18 or over.
