Position Overview:
As a Human Resources Staffing Specialist at UAB, you will coordinate the employment process while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and our internal policies and procedures. You'll work closely with departments to understand their staffing needs and use innovative sourcing methods to identify the best-qualified candidates. Your role will involve interviewing, assessing, and referring candidates through our online application system, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and reporting key metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with departments to address staffing needs and resolve recruitment challenges.
- Source, interview, and assess candidates for a wide range of roles.
- Oversee the employment process and maintain documentation for reporting.
- Manage temporary hires, conduct new employee orientations, and represent UAB at job fairs.
- Supervise support personnel, as needed.
Salary Range: $47,665. - $50,000
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role (education cannot be substituted with work experience).
