PROGRAM MANAGER-MOBILE UNIT-SPH
This position will work for the RURAL study in Biostatistics which is conducting a study at various locations across the southeast. This position requires that the employee travel more than 75% of their schedule. - Venipuncture and blood sample processing - Administration of ECG, Ankle-brachial index, and spirometry - Ability to use email, Zoom and other Windows, Apple and Cloud based technologies - Assistance with survey administration - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to work cohesively in a close nit team environment - Ability to lift 25 pounds of weight - Willingness to travel more than 75% of the position - Partial oversight of part-time staff, AMERCO Visa staff, students and intern - Very good organizational skills, and perform other duties as required.
Salary Wage Range: $50,050 - $81,330
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Three (3) years of phlebotomy experience required. Paramedical examiner experience is preferred Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required. Currently certified as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) required. Must undergo training and certification from UAB Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Biosafety Courses regarding the safe management, handling, disposing, and shipping of blood and body fluids within two (2) weeks of hire.
