Our team of Field Technicians have great passion for technology and connecting customers to products that enhance their everyday lives through exceptional customer support and technical expertise. We sell solutions-based products and services by building authentic connections with customers that drive long-lasting relationships.
Our Field Technicians drive to customer locations in a company provided van to repair their electronic devices while delivering our award-winning personalized customer experience.
This position involves driving from customer location to repair mobile device in company van on some days, and Also working in our retail store on other days.

- Resolve customer issues by troubleshooting and repairing their electronic devices

You are a good fit if you have:
- Must be 25 years of age or older to apply. No exceptions
- Six months experience with product service support or electronics troubleshooting
- Knowledge of mobile devices and operating systems
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Safely travel to customer sites and arrive within the scheduled appointment window
- Inform customers of job status (route status, Arrived, etc.)
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair devices
- Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand
- Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment
- Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations
- Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all van stock
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair
As an in store tech:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Resolve customer issues by troubleshooting and repairing their electronic devices
- Learn and apply the details of the Connected Home product, how to gain an understanding of the customer's technology, and how to offer and sell protection/tech support solutions to customers to meet their needs
- Perform in your role and achieve your goals by performing in sales, providing excellent service and technical/repair support, and creating satisfied customers, in accordance with Asurion’s Core Values
- Repair Cell phones, Computers, Tablets and Gaming Systems
- Keeping front of house clean
- Selling Product and services we offer
