LPN/OR Tech, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital United Health Services is seeking a LPN/OR Tech to join our Operating Room department at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY. This position is benefits eligible. Shift: Day Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $25.12 - 35.87 USD per hour, depending on experience. LPN/OR Tech / Overview Under general direction, observes and practices sterile technique, maintains asepsis, anticipates and assists the surgeon as needed. Actively participates in patient care and safety. Utilizes OR supplies conservatively and operates as a team member of the OR staff. Key Responsibilities and Expectations Education/Experience Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Preferred: Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting. Previous Operating Room experience. License/Certification Minimum Required: Current New York State Practical Nurse License. CPR Certification required within 3 months of hire. Work Environment Work is performed in an office environment that requires working in proximity to other employees and patients. The office is air conditioned as well as heated. Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants. Fast-paced environment including frequent interruptions. PPE- Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, Gloves per UHS Infection Control and CDC guidelines when appropriate.
