Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center in Virginia Beach, VA is actively seeking a dedicated General Adult Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in a full-time Staff Physician role. As a thriving standalone Inpatient and Partial Hospitalization behavioral health facility catering to Adult and Geriatric patients, Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center (VBPC) is committed to providing high-quality care through general and specialized treatment programs.

Position Overview:
As a Staff Psychiatrist, your responsibilities will encompass admission evaluations, treatment planning, and direct patient care within the inpatient program. Your caseload will consist of Adult patients with diverse psychiatric treatment needs. At VBPC, physicians collaborate with fellow professionals, clinical staff, and administration in a harmonious setting. The workload and call responsibilities are manageable, ensuring a conducive work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
- Licensed to practice in the State of Virginia
- Minimum of 4 years of practice/training experience
- Inpatient experience preferred
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
