What are the responsibilities and job description for the COUNSELOR AIDE position at UHS?
The Counselor Aide provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor or Charge Nurse. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention and activities of daily living. This position is an eveing position - 2:30pm - 11:00pm with rotating weekend shifts.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field or Licensed nurse/CNA with a minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment or equivalent experience preferred.
