This is a full time position at The Quincy Center in Quincy, MA.

The Mental Health Associate Supervisor is a vital part of Arbour Hospital’s treatment team. This is a full time position on the day shift. Our full time positions require employees to work every other weekend and there is a competitive shift differential for the evening, night, and weekend shifts.

As a Mental Health Associate Supervisor, you will:
- Provides supervision and support to MHA’s on assigned unit/s.
- Ensures clinical, operational and overall compliance with the assigned work to MHA staff on assigned unit.
- Works closely with management to ensure adequate staffing on unit and optimizes staff assignments for safety and quality.
- Supports initial and ongoing orientation of MHA staff to the unit/s, shift/s, assignments and role-modeling.
- Consistently informs Supervisors (& Educator) of continuing training needs of MHA’s on assigned unit.
- Performs as Staff Mentor during probationary period of designated MHA's employment on assigned unit.
- Evaluates MHA adherence to policies and procedures and provides input for corrective action as applicable.

Qualifications
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- College student who have obtained or are pursuing their degree in behavioral health, psychology, or human services are preferred
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Impeccable Judgment & professionalism
- Ability to maintain composure in a crisis situation
