Job Decription: Assists the Pharmacist by filling physician orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use; mixes IV admixture solutions as required using aseptic technique in the Laminar Air Flow hood; types labels, prepares and files charge slips and performs other related duties.

• High School graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician school or equivalent work experience & PTCB certified.
• Minimum of two years (2) required, preferable in a hospital setting.
• Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)
• Licensed by Nevada Board of Pharmacy & Certified by PTCB
• Automated pharmacy systems.
• IV Laminar Flow Hood, or willingness to learn.
