Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. The Rehabilitation Institute, the hospital features 184 licensed acute care beds as well as inpatient and outpatient surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, cardiac servicesfeaturing a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack) and a 35-bed 24-hour emergency department. Essential Job Duties:

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting. Previous Special procedures experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BLS and ACLS (current on hire)
• Current state nursing license
• PALS or NRP (current or obtained within 90 days of employment) in required specialty
• CPI required within 30 days of hire
