Summer Program Mental Health Specialist (MHS) Opportunity

 

Fuller Hospital is seeking Mental Health Specialists to join our team for the summer of 2024! We have full-time and part-time positions available. Every other weekend is required.

Summer program MHS employees must be current college students. Summer program employment will begin on April 29 or May 20th and end towards the end of August 2024 with opportunities to continue as a Per Diem employee.

As a Mental Health Specialist, you will:

  • Ensure a safe, therapeutic and engaging environment
  • Assist with patient groups and activities
  • Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
  • Assist with patients activities of daily living
  • Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in patients' behaviors

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in college or university
  • One year of experience working in a behavioral health setting is preferred, but not required
