Warehouse Associate

Looking for a trustworthy and motivated team worker to facilitate moving product throughout the warehouse with forklift, pallet jack, push carts and assist with shipping & receiving.

DAYS/HOURS: Monday-Friday, Hours 10am-7pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Shipping
• Picking Orders
• Consistently check posted sales order areas: FedEx, UPS, Pick up (Will Call), Truck delivery, and Sprinter delivery bins/boards
• Retrieve all available line items
• Alert Warehouse Manager of any inventory discrepancies
• Put all orders in their proper staging areas
• Loading Trucks, Vans, Customer’s Vehicles
• Organize daily Truck/Sprinter deliveries by the corresponding delivery dates
• Help customers load orders into their vehicles
• Strategically load the truck by order of delivery
• Load any outgoing LTL truck deliveries

• Receiving
• Off load Trucks using the forklift
• Off load packages from FedEx/UPS
• Check in all material delivered
• Carefully inspect TVs and other packages for damage
• Document and report any refusals of damaged products
• Report any short ships or discrepancies of Qty’s or Sku’s to Warehouse Manager
• Sign and date the corresponding vendor packing slips
• Give all packing slips to the Warehouse Manager to be received into System

• Stocking Shelves
• Bring received items to their proper bin locations
• Maintain fully stocked shelves in the showroom
• Inform Warehouse Manager of any depleted items for reordering

• Returns
• Make sure customers fill out a Ui RMA Request Form with the pertinent information
• Company name and date of return
• Serial numbers
• Reasons for return: Damaged, Defective, Not Needed, Etc.
• Put RMA request form into the designated bin for processing
• Bring unopened returned items back to stock
• Bring all damaged/defective items to the “return to vendor” pile

• Daily Tasks
• Empty all garbage and recycling bins in the AM & PM
• Breakdown Cardboard and throw in correct dumpster
• Wrap pallets and other material for Transfer
• Make sure the warehouse Ailes stay clear.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment
• Ability to work throughout the warehouse in various temperatures
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Ability to work overtime if needed
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
