What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Pantry Specialist position at Uintah Basin Association of Governments?
Food Pantry Specialist -- Warehouse / Grocery Rescue
Qualified applicant will be assigned to oversee the warehouse operation of the Ashley Valley
Food Pantry located in Vernal, UT. Duties will include, but not be limited to: grocery store
pickups, logging food weights into database, maintenance of shelves being stocked and rotated,
filling racks, loading of bins and tables, intake and weighing of donations, cleaning of
warehouse, supervision of food pantry volunteers, maintenance of pantry garden and assisting
clients. Will be required to operate a forklift, but experience is not necessary, we will train.
Must have good organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
verbally and in writing. Need to be able to lift at least 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Valid Driver's License Required. Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
