Under the Patient Financial Services Supervisor direction, the Patient Financial Services Representative for Collections representative is responsible for collecting and resolving inpatient and outpatient accounts from governmental, commercial, and/or managed care payers. This representative is expected to be familiar with the hospital and departmental policies and procedures and has the ability to utilize all resources within the hospital and department to accomplish assigned job duties. The PFS Representative will also participate in unit and enterprise activities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. This is a remote position.
