Ulliman Schutte is seeking IT Specialists for full time positions based out of our main office in Miamisburg, OH, who have a strong desire to operate in a fast-paced environment. Our team members must be able to work well with others, including our remote project teams, and be capable of working on multiple projects during the same time frame. The successful candidates will have strong technical knowledge, communicate effectively to understand problems and explain their solutions, be user-oriented and patient, and create value for users to help preserve the primary business of the company.
IT Specialist Daily Life
- Serving as the advanced point of contact for users seeking technical assistance
- Maintaining databases
- Jobsite network setup and configurations
- Office/Jobsite server configuration and maintenance
- Usage of Oracle DB and SQL
- Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
- Walk users through the problem-solving process
- Create documentation for future use
- Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of custom business applications
QUALIFICATIONS
- SQL/Oracle Database Administration
- Windows server and networking experience
- Proven experience as an IT professional
- Tech-savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication skills
- User-oriented and cool-tempered
- Understanding of database concepts
- Jobsite travel
- Preferred: Watchguard Systems
- Preferred: Windows server environments
- Preferred: 2-year degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
