The Ulster County SPCA has been providing shelter for lost, abused and unwanted animals since 1891. We are looking for an energetic, reliable and hardworking individual to join our high-performance team as an Animal Care Attendant. Duties include but are not limited to, cleaning and feeding of the animals, assisting in veterinary examinations, and working alongside a team of professional, respectful individuals.
If you are a friendly, self-motivated, reliable, flexible and detail-oriented individual who is willing to learn methods of animal handling, this position may be for you. High school diploma, valid driver's license, solid people skills, and having a sense of pride in all you do is a must. This position requires lifting, bending and spending long periods of time on your feet. This is a predominantly cleaning position.
The shift is two days: Saturday and Sunday from 7:30- 4:00pm. Please send both your resume and cover letter to be considered for the position.
