THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The AP Analyst will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Accounts Payable and the department to support training and vendor resolution by ssisting with internal control compliance, supporting system implementations and testing and vendor research efforts.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
Having a strong understanding of accounts payable systems and transaction flow, including regular expense invoicing, merchant PO's, non-merchant PO's and T&E expenses. This also includes a significant in depth of understanding of SAP, Ariba, ConCur and PNC, our Travel and Expense portal and company credit card provider.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
Having a strong understanding of accounts payable systems and transaction flow, including regular expense invoicing, merchant PO's, non-merchant PO's and T&E expenses. This also includes a significant in depth of understanding of SAP, Ariba, ConCur and PNC, our Travel and Expense portal and company credit card provider.
- Work closely with other areas of the organization, including IT, Payroll, Store Operations, Store GMs and DMs, Loss Prevention, General Accounting, and Accounting Administration, to respond to and solve issues and inquiries based on subject matter knowledge and expertise.
- Research and solve complex payable issues as they relate to vendor agreement issues, policy compliance issues, company credit card related issues, and internal system issues.
- Work with third party partners to resolve issues and implement new processes as needed.
- Support dispute process and oversee ticketing process as it relates to AP's responsibilities
- Be an integral part of all new IT/Business projects that affect Accounts Payable. Perform user acceptance testing and review testing performed by QA.
- Work closely with the Sr. AP Manager to ensure all internal control policies and procedures are met.
- Various other routine and non-routine functions as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3-5 years' experience with a focus in Accounts Payable and General Accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to interpret and communicate findings to all areas of the business.
- Knowledge of financial processes and internal controls.
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP and BW systems.
- Detail oriented and deadline driven
- Organized, dedicated and reliable with a high degree of efficiency
- Very strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Displays professionalism and tact when dealing with others
- Demonstrates leadership qualities and is recognized as an expert within the organization
- Works independently with little or no supervision necessary
