POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supplier Operations Sr. Analyst will manage and execute the collaboration and performance strategies of Ulta Beauty’s merchandise Brand Partners, in accordance with Merchandising, Inventory/Planning and Supply Chain internal business partners. This role will manage and execute the Data and Analytics and financial reporting for proactive performance and compliance management. This position will work across many functional areas of Ulta Beauty.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, manage and support the Supplier Operations team to navigate and utilize Ulta Beauty systems to troubleshoot business and compliance issues and discrepancies including data extracts from systems and create ad hoc reports for analysis.
- Lead, manage and support Supply Chain initiatives with cross-functional business teams to implement supply chain solutions inclusive of Project Plan development, Change Management documentation, implementation, and Governance.
- Lead, manage and support Supplier Operations Projects including Budget management, Short term strategic planning, SOW Development, Resource alignment, assignment, and tracking.
- Utilizing Data & Analytics and Financial reporting to support multi-year strategic plan to assess current challenges and future needs
- Lead, manage and support On-Boarding, Collaboration & Compliance activities, including but not limited to: EDI enablement, Scorecard & Chargeback performance reviews, Quarterly collaboration meetings, Collaborative Performance plans and Brand Partner recognition.
- Executes Quarterly Business Review meetings with Supply Chain leadership to assess business opportunities and provides recommendations to complex issues and requests.
- Leads cross-functional business teams through root cause analysis and address accountability with internal/external partners.
- Manages the Ulta Beauty Supply Chain Guide and collaborates with Ulta business owners for the processes and procedures within the guide.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Minimum of five years direct work experience in supplier performance and collaboration or similar work experience, preferably within retail industry or supply chain
- BS or BA University degree required
- Strong data & analytical skills and advanced to expert skill with Descriptive & Diagnostic Analytics and Data Visualization
- Advanced to expert skills with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred advanced skills with tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Power BI
- Retail background with strong process and systems acumen. Preferred advanced skill with SAP S4 & database querying
- Experience with enterprise level project management, preferably within the context of a retail environment and/or supply chain
- Working knowledge of Merchandising and/or Supply Chain Process Best Practices. Ability to utilize data analytics to interpret and anticipate stakeholder/business needs
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines while using analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Capability to address highly technical points with trained peers, as well as provide clear, high-level explanations in a way that supports business-centered decision-makers
- Ability to effectively prioritize, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to set expectations and deliver results on time
