POSITION SUMMARY


The Electronics Assembly Technician assembles and tests electronic components for ULTRAX’s proprietary test sets. They work with calibrated equipment, circuit card assemblies, CCA housings, and wiring harnesses. They document test results.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical build operations.  
  • Perform tasks based on provided work instruction, engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, sketches, and other written and verbal instructions.
  • Complete the necessary paperwork, collect data on products and tests, complete manufacturing steps as prescribed, and document that work has been completed.
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical verification of own work.
  • Report non-conformance issues or deviations from product definition.
  • Support activities identified by Manufacturing Engineering to maintain equipment in a ready state.
  • May perform other duties as required, including cross training across multiple departments.
  • Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established company requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment.  

Requirements

Qualifications/Experience

  • Able to read electrical diagrams and schematics
  • Experience with standard electrical testing tools (O-Scope, DMM, etc.)
  • Experience with electronic troubleshooting is a plus
  • Possess or pursuing a degree in electronics technology, or equivalent work experience or certifications
  • Problem solving skills
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset
