Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to set up and operate precision machinery
• Utilize computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to generate part programs

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize manufacturing processes

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
• Proven experience as a machinist, preferably in aerospace or related industry
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of aerospace materials, such as aluminum, titanium, and composites
• Familiarity with CNC machining and programming
• Understanding of aerospace regulations and quality standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP)
• Ability to operate a variety of precision machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Adherence to safety protocols and practices
• Certification in precision machining or relevant field is a plus
