#Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electronic Billing Supervisor to join our dynamic billing team. The Electronic Billing Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing the electronic billing process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic billing systems, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to optimizing revenue cycle management. Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Lead and manage a team of electronic billing specialists, providing guidance, training, and support. Conduct regular performance evaluations, set performance goals, and facilitate professional development. Electronic Billing Process: Oversee the submission of electronic claims to insurance payers. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing data and adherence to coding standards. Monitor and analyze billing reports to identify and address discrepancies. Compliance and Regulations: Stay current with healthcare billing regulations and coding changes. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements. Implement and enforce best practices for electronic billing. System Maintenance: Collaborate with IT and billing system vendors to troubleshoot and resolve electronic billing system issues. Participate in the evaluation and implementation of upgrades or enhancements to the billing system. Revenue Cycle Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement to optimize the revenue cycle. Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and reduce billing errors. Staff Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on electronic billing processes, system updates, and compliance requirements. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Hiring compensation ranges from $20.00 - $29.00/hr. This position is eligible for benefits following a 60-day waiting period.# # # Minimum Education Graduate from an accredited college or university with an Associate of Art//Science degree and or the equivalent job experience preferred. Bachelors degree and/or CPC preferred. # Experience Five or more years# experience of supervision in hospital or physician setting preferred. Must have the ability to co-manage the department and work well within the management team. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products with the ability to utilize Excel for management reporting functions. Must demonstrate effectiveness in monitoring daily work activities, evaluating, training and motivating performance of subordinate employees. # Required Registration/License/Certification CPC Preferred # Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, diplomacy, and relationship building.
