POSITION SUMMARY

Serves as a resource for, and evaluates the appropriateness of during therapy. Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, manufacturing, compounding, repackaging, relabeling, dispensing and control of medications, intravenous fluids and other pharmaceutical products.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required:

BS Pharmacy or Pharm D. Valid NC license to practice pharmacy prior to staffing assignments.

Incumbent will be required to attain a minimum of 15 hours of ACPE approved continuing education credit annually.

Above plus prior hospital experience, Pharmacy Practice or Specialty Residency.
