Responsibilities:

• Interview patients to collect and document history of present illness (HPI), medication reconciliation, and history of allergies.
• Perform vital sign measurement and standard testing per clinic procedures.
• Coordinate and perform follow-on procedures as directed by a provider, including specimen collection and delivery of test results.
• Assist with provider-performed procedures such as suture application or splints.
• Communicate with patients in a timely and effective manner regarding their care, notifying them of test and lab results.
• Document care into electronic medical recordkeeping system (EMR).
• Maintain and monitor consumable supplies and medications for effective ongoing clinical operations.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current Medical Assistant certification.
• Must hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to lift supplies and equipment regularly and navigate clinical area actively throughout work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior work experience in a clinical setting.

Salary : $59,000 - $79,000
