Responsibilities:
- Interview patients to collect and document history of present illness (HPI), medication reconciliation, and history of allergies.
- Perform vital sign measurement and standard testing per clinic procedures.
- Coordinate and perform follow-on procedures as directed by a provider, including specimen collection and delivery of test results.
- Assist with provider-performed procedures such as suture application or splints.
- Communicate with patients in a timely and effective manner regarding their care, notifying them of test and lab results.
- Document care into electronic medical recordkeeping system (EMR).
- Maintain and monitor consumable supplies and medications for effective ongoing clinical operations.

Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Medical Assistant certification.
- Must hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in a clinical setting.
