Fulfillment Team Lead

Job Description:

Uncommon James is looking for a fulfillment lead, to execute daily fulfillment duties of Jewelry, Home Goods, Apparel and Beauty items. This position will be responsible for continuous order fulfillment, training, and processing improvements to the fulfillment leadership team. A successful candidate will have prior successful experience in a fulfillment environment, an understanding of shipping performances and the ability to navigate WMS systems. 

Tasks:

• Facilitate daily tasks that will maintain productivity and increase efficiency
• Provide visibility to management by tracking processing oversights, research and troubleshooting issues within daily operations
• Proactively manage KPIs and on-floor training to support underperforming teammates
• Ensure all employees are efficiently fulfilling orders via WMS and fulfillment systems
• Partner with Fulfillment Manager to utilize shipping software and WMS systems to guarantee accurate shipments and prioritize shipping activities
• Work in sync with the Inventory team regarding inbound or outbound shipment issues
• Weekly scheduling of fulfillment team for efficient workflow
• Schedule daily pickups with shipping carriers / transport packages to USPS/UPS/FedEx when necessary
• Order and maintain packaging supplies
• Opening and/or closing of the warehouse at the beginning and end of each shift when necessary. 
• Coordinate with fulfillment Manager to investigate discrepancies in pick/pack/ship processing.
• Perform daily audit of outbound orders daily.
• Maintain product knowledge of new and existing SKUs (brands, styles, colors, etc.)
• Flexibility to perform multiple tasks assigned by upper management
• Actively seeks and recommends opportunities for continued improvement in warehouse operations and standards.
• Tracks and records ordering of supplies each week to be approved by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience leading teams, or relevant experience 
  • Knowledge of WMS systems preferred
  • Forklift certified preferred
  • Team player 
  • Problem solver  
  • Good interpersonal and time-management skills.  

Work Experience:

• 1 years of Fulfillment/Distribution/Warehouse experience preferred
