The primary role of a Treatment Plan Coordinator is to warmly connect and gain the trust of all patients by helping patients understand their options and why the recommended treatment is essential to their health and well-being. The Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator should demonstrate a welcoming and approachable disposition to each patient on the phone and in person, providing the best possible ‘first impression’ and overall patient experience in the office. Our busy dental office will keep you motivated while providing a rewarding and exciting career.

Requirements


While our ideal candidate should have:

  • 2 years of experience as a Treatment Plan Coordinator gaining financial commitments from patients
  • Understanding of general and special operations and patient flow issues
  • Utilize skills and resources available to assist patients in making the best possible decision for their unique wants and needs, remembering that the most important choice the patient will make is getting started with treatment
  • Thorough knowledge of third-party financial companies and how they work
  • Ability to professionally overcome the common patient objections/rejections
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient financial paperwork and adherence to the company's financial arrangement parameters
  • knowledge on how to use patient account software and maintain accuracy in records related to patient financials
  • Thorough knowledge of how insurance companies work
  • Help in exceeding patient expectations in order to achieve the Best Patient Experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A self-motivated Positive 'Can-Do' Attitude. Being ready, available, and willing to get the job done.
  • A Team player mindset.
  • The ability to create a great ‘First Impression’ for patients through professional, friendly, and hospitable interaction.
  • Excellent phone conversion skills
  • Knowledge of Open Dental or Dentrix software (preferred)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of dental terminology, technical skills, and equipment.
  • Excellent computer skills.

Schedule:


• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm


Office Culture:


In this position, you'll be part of a team that builds long-term relationships amongst themselves and with our patients. You will be joining a passionate team about dental health and helping patients maintain or achieve their beautiful smiles while educating and providing opportunities for every patient to afford their dental needs.
