Underground Printing (UGP’s) Mission Statement is to help bring customer communities to life through custom branded apparel & merchandise.
Underground has experienced rapid growth, ranking in the Inc 5000 fastest growing companies 5 years in a row. We produce all of our printed apparel in our Main factory in Michigan & with 172,000 SF of screen printing and embroidery production and over 300 employees.
We consistently rank in the top 10 largest screen printers by volume in the U.S. and are one of the fastest growing online clothing retailers.
We serve both B2C and B2B customers such as non profits, retailers, and Universities through our store and office locations across the United States.
Additionally we help brands and licensors sell online both through company branded and marketplace websites.
Underground Printing specializes in selling custom printed apparel. We're looking for driven, hardworking candidates who love people and customer service for our Champaign location! You'll be part of a fun, fast-growing company with opportunities for both increased responsibility and advancement (Plus you get to wear a T-shirt & jeans to work!)
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) : Greeting and helping customers, assisting the Sales Manager with community outreach / sales, great communication skills, accurate cash handling, merchandising, and re-stocking, among other assigned duties.
Preferred, but not required qualities include : Active campus involvement, marketing and communication skills, customer service experience and self-management.
All stores are open Monday - Sunday! Hours range from 8 : 00AM-9 : 00PM. Availability must be within store hours - Weekend and closing availability is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Active campus involvement
- Excellent marketing and communication skills.
- Advanced organizational skills.
- PC Proficient with experience with MS Office Suite, Gmail and Google documents.
- Sales and customer service experience is preferred.
