Job Description for a Level 2 NDT FPI Technician:
Uni-Cast has an immediate opening in its NDT Department for a Level 2 FPI Technician on Second Shift (3:30 pm - midnight). This FPI position is responsible for processing of aluminum parts through a fluorescent liquid tank and inspection of parts for potential defects, as well as all associated paperwork.
**Must be able to provide proof of Level 2 FPI Certification **
Must be able to train on First Shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) for 2-4 weeks.
Key skills for Level 2 NDT FPI Technician:
- Good math skills
- Ability to work methodically and efficiently
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and use technical equipment
- Awareness of safety and quality standards
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Good fitness levels – position includes some heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds
Requirements for NDT FPI Technician:
- FPI Certification (Level 2)
- High School or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- 20/20 vision in one eye with correction
