What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Uni Dental?
Our established high quality dental practice is looking for a personable front desk receptionist and a passionate dental assistant to provide great services to the community. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills are desired.
Knowledge of computers, strong communication skills, experience with dental practice management software, patient recalling, and other front office duties are highly valued as the front office receptionist.
Knowledge of chair-side assisting, trays preparation, sterilization, cleaning, and other back office duties are highly needed from the dental assistant.
English listening and speaking skills are required. Language understanding in Mandarin will be a plus. Negotiable salary.
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Work days and times:- Four days a week
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday work hours: 9:30 am ~ 6:00 pm
Available positions:
- Front Office Receptionist (experience at a dental clinic will be given priority but not required)
- Dental Assistant (assisting experience at a dental clinic will be given priority but not required)
Essential functions:
Dental Assistant- Assists dentists with patient treatments and answers questions that patients may have. Relay the questions to dentists or the front office if needed
Front Office Receptionist- Assists the general manager in preparing the patients for treatments. Duties include but not limited to calling patients for appointments, answering phone calls, answering patients' questions at the front office, handling patients' paperwork, and transferring the patients to treatments- Knowledge and experience in billing the patients at a dental clinic setting are highly valued but not required
Qualification:
- High school diploma/GED
- Fluent in English (required)
- Experiences in the position are preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and respectful towards others
- Good at customer service
Compensation:- $17.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience. Negotiable.
