What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Director position at Union Church?
At Union Church, the Marketing Director’s primary function is to use established communication platforms to create compelling calls to action that increase the reach of Union Church. You’ll work across the ministries and departments to create and execute marketing plans with clear and measurable outcomes (attendance, registrations, sales, giving, etc.) In addition, you’ll lead a volunteer team (Dream Team) of writers, designers, marketers, etc., to accomplish those outcomes in a way that helps them unite to their purpose.
General Responsibilities
- Creation and execution of multi-channel marketing plans
- Manage internal communication plans that increase participation in the church's critical objectives, including salvation, baptisms, groups, Union College, growth track, etc.
- Create and manage ongoing external omnichannel marketing plans that prioritize a high ROI, engagement rate, and creativity.
- Recruit and lead a volunteer team (Dream Team) that contributes to the creation of plans and assets that grow the reach of Union.
- Manage a team of vendors including visual creators, appearal designers, email designers, etc.
