What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Union Community Care?
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
Prepare deliver, and restock medications
Perform order entry
Procure drugs
Bill prescriptions
Assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- Experience working with 340B preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Union Community Care is part of a larger movement of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), which are community-based, non-profit organizations that provide a full range of primary and preventive healthcare to their communities.
