Duties :

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Monitor customer behavior and enforce alcohol consumption policies
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders
• Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed

Experience :

• Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
• Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and cocktail recipes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a positive manner
• Ability to handle large crowds during events
• Proficient in time management to ensure efficient service during peak hours
• Basic math skills for accurately calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy
• Understanding of retail math principles for inventory management and ordering supplies
• Experience in handling cash, credit cards, and electronic payment systems
