What are the responsibilities and job description for the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional position at Union County Disabilities & Special Needs Board?
The QIDP is responsible for the overall operation of the ICF/ID facility which includes the supervision of personnel and administrative management functions, as well as the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of active treatment programs for the residents living in the ICF/ID. Applicant should be familiar with DPH (Department of Public Health), formerly DHEC, guidelines for operating an Intermediate Care Facility. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience and 2 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities and bachelor’s degree in Human Services from an accredited college or university. Human Services = psychology, sociology, speech communication, gerontology, education, counseling, human development, anthropology, rehabilitation counseling, literature or the arts.
