What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Union Mission Ministries, Inc.?
Purpose: To assist customers on the sales floor and create a welcoming atmosphere and a memorable shopping experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organizing and staging products for sale.
- Pricing items for sales floor.
- Keeping a neat and clean store.
- Ringing up customer’s purchases.
- Counting down registers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Must be flexible to move from task to task with ease.
· Must be able to work well with people.
· Must be able to handle difficult customers on occasion.
· Knowledge using Square Point of sale.
· Must have an eye for design, organization, and detail.
Credentials and Experience:
- High School graduate or Equivalent
- Experience working in new boutique opening in Kanawha City in need of full-time and or part-time sales associate.

Boutique will be open Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm and closed on the weekends. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, and mental health days. Health insurance is available.
