Position Overview

This position performs and assists with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures to the infant, child, adolsescent, adult and older adult patients in accordance with hospital policy and procedures. The scope and nature of procedures and patients differ according to specialty areas.

Education/Knowledge Requirements

Prerequisites:
-
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS registry eligible or graduate of an accredited radiology program with R.T. and ARDMS registry eligible.

Must obtain ARDMS registry, including OB/GYN certification, within 12 months of hire/transfer, if registry eligible.

The following clearances are required prior to employment:
1. Child Abuse History Clearance
2. Child Abuse FBI Fingerprinting
3. PA State Background Check

Essential Job-Related Experience:

Ability to maintain/update the computer competencies as required for the position

Preferred Job-Related Experience:

One (1) year or more of ultrasound experience
