Essential Duties:
Perform blood draws and POCT testing on patients living in various facilities, care/group homes, and private residences
Utilize scheduling software and update assignments accordingly on a daily basis
Complete daily draw log to report completed and incomplete orders to office team
Generate own route and contacting patients every evening to schedule for next day
Develop and maintain positive rapport with patients and their respective caretaker(s)
Develop and maintain positive rapport with office team members
Correctly label patient specimen(s) and storing at appropriate temperature(s)
Drop specimens off at correct lab based on patient’s insurance
Transport specimens to LCA or SQL laboratory for processing
Complete STAT orders in a timely fashion
Correctly identify patient at the beginning of each encounter
Communicate with and respond to messages from the office team in a timely fashion
Keep track of their supplies and submitting supply orders to office when necessary and with advanced notice
