We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant/OA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, knowledgeable in orthodontics, and willing to travel and work on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and organize treatment areas, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready.
- Take Xrays as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and posttreatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist in the sterilization of instruments and maintenance of equipment.
- Place brackets on teeth in the correct position with minimal movement needed by the orthodontist.
- Fit bands, modify as necessary, and cement them securely.
- Light cure materials with success.
- Provide instructions on the use of retainers and face masks.
- Perform adjustments and follow chart notes accurately.
- Understand and effectively read the orthodontic tooth numbering system.
- Scan using the iTero system for digital impressions.
- Bond attachments as needed and demonstrate knowledge in Invisalign procedures.
- Work independently with a sense of urgency while maintaining a friendly demeanor with patients.
- Accurately place wires in the mouth.
- Current RDA certification and valid CPR certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
