Job Description: Responsible for transporting clubhouse members safely to and from clubhouse and on clubhouse trips. Responsible for organizing and obtaining authorization for transportation, as well as maintaining cleanliness of 15 passenger van while assuring inspections and maintenance are completed. Responsible for working with clubhouse members in the home and school setting to work on individual skills to achieve goals and facilitating clubhouse groups focusing on skill development.
Job Responsibilities: Will work Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week (hours vary depending on van routes after group ends at 6pm). Will work one Saturday per month for clubhouse family events (hours to be flexed during week). During the school year, the position is 10 AM – 7 PM. During school breaks, hours vary depending on the program needs, generally working either 9 AM – 6 PM or 8 AM – 5 PM. The hours are selected by parents of attending members at the beginning of each break. Transportation duties include night driving and driving 15 passenger vans.
Competencies: Knowledge of community resources and connections. Knowledge of recovery process and symptom management. Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Three years’ experience in a social service field or associate degree in a helping field plus one year of applicable experience. CPS-Y preferred. Valid Georgia driver’s license and clear MVR with fewer than 6 points required. Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
