If you can :
Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with clients, coworkers, behavior therapy team, day program team, service coordinator and other UCP personnel (you will interact with family often)
Assist with ADL's, toileting and bathing, Lift and Transfer (including use of Gait Belt, Wheelchair, etc.), adaptive transportation.
Administer Medications per physician's orders and agency policy / procedure.
Do Shift Documentation using Set-Works and do general housekeeping.
Manage crisis situations and de-escalation.
Participate in frequent team meetings or calls.
Commit to 32 hours per week in ratio supporting clients, with responsibilities to include staff training. (remaining 8 hours dedicated to administration tasks)
Be prepared to cover open shifts as needed due to scheduling (Flexibility is essential as this position may require on-call availability for assigned ISL sites and participation in an on-call rotation)
Understand financial planning and finance ledgers, plan menus, schedule appointments, schedule for team with keeping overtime to a minimum, timekeep, cleaning checklists and plan community outings.
We would prefer :
Certifications such as L1MA, FA / CPR, and CPI (UCP Heartland will provide assistance in obtaining these certifications, once you are hired)
Previous supervisory experience
CNA certification

Minimum Employment Standards
High School Diploma or its equivalent (GED).
Clean Driving Record ( VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE with no speeding tickets in excess of 21 or more MPH over the posted speed limit in the past 3 years) and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training.
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field.
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
Good written and communication skills
Computer proficiency
Preferred Employment Standards
Associate degree in a human service field.
Two years' experience supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.
Knowledge of and experience with adaptive equipment and assistive technology devices for adults with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of and experience with Electronic Health Records system.
Experience with adults diagnosed with Autism.
Experience with adults with aggressive behavior / elopement.
Shifts vary depending on the Residence. $23.00 / Hour
