Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is the first point of contact for the school – ensuring a positive customer service experience for everyone and provides administrative support to the school.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides superior professional customer service and communication skills (oral and written) to team members, client/student families, community partners, and referral sources, including professional greeting all guests/team members/families in person and on the phone, assisting with questions/information requests and completing the Admissions Initial Inquiry form for potential new outpatients/students.
- Ensures the front desk area is clean, organized, and well maintained.
- Ensures all voice/in-person messages are distributed/returned promptly.
- Maintains conference/other public room calendars.
- Provide general office support, including draft correspondence, fax, copy, e-mail, scan, setting up meetings, and maintenance of calendars and gatekeeper/problem solver.
- Order office/classroom/clinic supplies
- Tracks classroom attendance, updates call-in sheets and board, prepares and monitors attendance for VPK/4C and DOE compliance, and submits/files to required entities.
- Assists in monitoring classroom substitute needs/calls for subs as needed.
- Maintains Campus Compliance Binder (updates inspections, etc.)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Training: (or equivalent)
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Prefer Associate Degree
Minimum Experience:
- 2 years Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
- Strong customer service skills
- Prefer experience working in a medical or school setting
- Prefer Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Salary : $12 - $14
