Do you have a degree in education and a passion for teaching young children? Join our special education program and help support the learning of children 5-8 years old. Small caseload, lots of behavioral support from on-site clinicians, research-based curriculum, technology friendly - join us today!

Requirements

  • 282 Certification for K-8 and birth-5 no later than August 15
  • Bachelor Degree in Special Education or Elementary Education, or one of the following related fields: Child Development, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Child Development, Mental Health, Human Services, Human Development, Social and Behavioral Sciences, or Behavioral Health.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience with children ages 2-8 or young children with special needs preferred.
  • Experience working with families and supervising staff required.
  • Must obtain agency provided CPR/First Aid/BBP certifications within 60 days of hire.
  • Must obtain agency provided Safety Care certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Must obtain agency provided BHP certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
