Requirements
- 282 Certification for K-8 and birth-5 no later than August 15
- Bachelor Degree in Special Education or Elementary Education, or one of the following related fields: Child Development, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Child Development, Mental Health, Human Services, Human Development, Social and Behavioral Sciences, or Behavioral Health.
- Minimum of 1-year experience with children ages 2-8 or young children with special needs preferred.
- Experience working with families and supervising staff required.
- Must obtain agency provided CPR/First Aid/BBP certifications within 60 days of hire.
- Must obtain agency provided Safety Care certification within 30 days of hire.
- Must obtain agency provided BHP certification within 12 months of hire.
- Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
