Responsibilities
Responsibilities:Â
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled DOE patientsÂ
- Executes plan of care directives accuratelyÂ
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behaviorÂ
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the treating physicianÂ
- Communicate with Case Manager on collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient careÂ
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease preventionÂ
- Maintain accurate patient logging in EMR
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family membersÂ
Qualifications:Â
- RN License required for state practicing in (Compact licensure accepted)
- Ability to travel is requiredÂ
- Current state nursing license in good standingÂ
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursingÂ
- Current CPR Certification (CPR classes are available through company)
- Must pass a state & federal background checkÂ
- Malpractice Insurance requiredÂ
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skillsÂ
