Qualifications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitoring patients post anesthesia (drips, blood pressure, airways)
- Keeping a close eye on vital signs and responding when needed
- Assessing and managing pain levels
- Educating and advocating for patients
- A valid RN license
- Previous PACU, ICU, or Telemetry experience preferred
- ACLS preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
Minimum Required:
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
Minimum Required:
- Current NYS RN License
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
