Plant Health Care Technician
United Landscape in Lexington KY seeks a Plant Health Care (PHC) Technician for our team. We are looking for an individual who can deliver the highest standard of service. We deal mainly with high-end residential landscapes and are looking for dedicated, hard-working, efficient people who take pride in performing work of excellent quality.
Your Mission:
United Landscape sets the standards for others to follow. As a PHC Technician, you would conduct customer site visits for plant health assessment and applications while managing crews for maximum productivity and safety. You would also maintain quality control on service delivery; develop clients and services; efficiently coordinate schedules, records, and performance data; and effectively communicate with clients, supervisors, and staff.
You’re a Great Fit if You Have:
- Great tree, shrub, weed/turf grass, and plant identification skills, ISA pruning practices, and knowledge of disease and pest control options
- A 2- or 4-year degree in horticulture, forestry, or a related area
- Certification as Landscape Industry Technician
- An ISA Arborist Certification and/or at least 5 years’ experience in a related field
- A pesticide license
Excellent Candidates Would Have:
- Skills to perform and teach top quality work in a variety of green industry areas
- Capacity to be a self-starter, follow-up, and work independently
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work with computers and technology
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of customers and staff
- Experience with Tree Plotter program

Employment Requirements:
- Be 25 years of age or over
- Have the legal right to work in the United States
- Be physically capable of performing the required duties (repetitive movements including extensive push/pull motion, bending/twisting/stooping, lifting 50 lbs.)
- A valid driver's license with no DUI/DWI convictions in the previous 5 years
