Job Overview
United Language Institute, a local English language education provider, is currently seeking enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced ESL/EFL instructors for our Dania Beach, FL campus. This In-Person position is set to begin in September 2025 for the Fall Term. Continued employment opportunities will be determined based on performance and institutional need, and reviewed at the end of each academic quarter.
On-Campus Morning Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive to class on time and maintain punctuality.
- Show respect for students' native languages and cultural backgrounds.
- Apply a variety of effective ESL teaching strategies to assess student progress for both instructional and administrative purposes.
- Encourage inclusive, open-minded classroom discussions and analysis.
- Prepare weekly lesson plans aligned with institutional guidelines.
- Communicate student progress and other relevant information to the ESL Director as necessary.
- Exhibit professionalism, emotional maturity, and the ability to manage job responsibilities, resolve issues, make sound decisions, and prioritize effectively.
- Complete quarterly professional development training.
- Participate in at least one in-service training session annually.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Fluent in English with clear pronunciation.
- Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, Linguistics, English, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of one year of ESL teaching experience.
Technical Requirements:
- Basic proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to incorporate digital tools into teaching and presentations.
- Willingness to learn and use online Course Management Systems.
- Comfortable using email for communication with students and staff.

Pay Rate: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
