What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Porter position at United Methodist Homes, Inc.?
United Methodist Homes, a non-profit senior living organization serving its 140-year mission to provide relationship-centered care, is currently seeking a Part Time Housekeeping Porter to work at our Wesley Village campus located in Shelton, CT in our Long Term/Rehabilitation community: Bishop Wicke.
Available Shift:
- Part Time 16 hours from 4:00pm to Midnight.
- Includes every other weekend and one weekday evening.
- Also works every other holiday.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Performs routine internal cleaning assignments in a timely and effective manner as evidenced by feedback of others.
- Contributes to the effective operations of the department by demonstrating dependability in job performance.
- Demonstrates commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of United Methodist Homes.
- Collaborates with all staff to maintain the safety and security of all who reside, visit, or work in the facility.
Requirements:
- Education - Must be able to read, write and perform basic math functions.
- Experience - Entry level position, previous institutional cleaning desired.
- Licensure - N/A.
- Testing - Pre-placement physical & drug test required.
