The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience in all areas related to the human resources field. United Performance Metals is an international distributor of specialty metals used in aerospace, medical, and power generation applications.
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition including employing creative recruiting methods, building a name in the community, onboarding and acclimating new employees
- Research and analyze employee trends to understand ways to increase employee engagement and retention
- Understand benefits administration and learn the company's portfolio of offering
- Develop job descriptions and participate in job pricing activity
- Understand the payroll process and ensure timesheets completion for payroll
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to daily management of employees
- Assist management in conflict resolution and performance management
- Meet company training standards, develop and deliver training programs
- Set standards for ethics, values and culture of company
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience in HR in an industrial setting
- Strong organization, communication and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems
